Catechesi N. 73
A - Invocare lo Spirito Santo è una  importante pratica del cristiano. Spesso se ne parla e si magnifica la Sua azione  attraverso incontri di preghiera. Adorarlo e comportarsi secondo i presupposti della dottrina cristiana, è il modo per ricevere la Sua visita. L'assenza dei frutti dello Spirito Santo indicano che non c'è una vera comunione e la preghiera non è efficace. Perché?

B – Quanti sono i veri credenti che seguono in modo autentico Gesù Cristo?
La Parola di Dio non viene accolta dal 90% della popolazione mondiale, su un miliardo di cattolici solamente una minima parte, il 15% circa, frequenta la Santa Messa e vive coerentemente, scegliendo  Gesù come loro vera unica guida.

C – Una caratteristica imprescindibile del Sacerdote  è la messa a disposizione del proprio tempo e la dedizione completa al bene delle anime. Nell'ordinazione ha deposto la sua volontà a Dio e dovrebbe ripetere con San Paolo: "Non sono più io che vivo ma Cristo vive in me" (Gal 2,20).

D – Il tempo in cui Gesù affermava queste parole non era certo il tempo in cui esistevano gli armamenti nucleari o le guerre combattute con la mitraglia e il cannone, come oggi i quotidiani raccontano. Sono parole attualissime, forse un po’ difficili da interpretare.

Come il Padre ha mandato me anch’io mando voi.

A - Invocare lo Spirito Santo è una  importante pratica del cristiano. Spesso se ne parla e si magnifica la Sua azione  attraverso incontri di preghiera. Adorarlo e comportarsi secondo i presupposti della dottrina cristiana, è il modo per ricevere la Sua visita. L'assenza dei frutti dello Spirito Santo indicano che non c'è una vera comunione e la preghiera non è efficace. Perché?
La devozione allo Spirito Santo è autentica solamente quando si assumono comportamenti spirituali, in mancanza di essi non si può parlare dell’ azione di Dio in quell'anima.  E’ stato lo stesso Gesù a parlare di frutti: "Dai loro frutti li riconoscerete" (Mt 7,16) e aggiunge un’avvertenza che riscopriamo essere importantissima specialmente oggi :"Guardatevi dai falsi profeti che vengono a voi in veste di pecore, ma dentro son lupi rapaci" (Mt 7,15).
I frutti spirituali svelano la vera identità di una persona al di la  delle parole.
Solitamente con le parole si inventa e si costruisce il contrario di tutto, le opere invece non possono ingannare.
Predisponiamoci ora a leggere questo passo del Vangelo e a rifletterci e meditarci su per almeno una decina di minuti:
"Dai loro frutti li riconoscerete. Si raccoglie forse uva dalle spine, o fichi dai rovi? Così ogni albero buono produce frutti buoni e ogni albero cattivo produce frutti cattivi; un albero buono non può produrre frutti cattivi, né un albero cattivo produrre frutti buoni" (Mt 7,16-18).
Il significato delle parole di Gesù pone la nostra attenzione a distinguere la persona che pecca per debolezza dalla persona che pecca perché è corrotta nell’animo, che vive per il male e gioisce davanti alla sofferenza altrui.
 C'è una scala di cattiveria che  per la sua complessità e irrazionalità  non riusciamo nemmeno a considerare; certo è che le persone che hanno commesso cattiverie volontarie anche se minime, hanno sempre la possibilità di riparare e ricominciare una vita santa.
L'analisi di San Paolo ai Romani mostra gli effetti dei comportamenti dell'uomo: "Fratelli, quelli che vivono secondo la carne, pensano alle cose della carne; quelli invece che vivono secondo lo Spirito, alle cose dello Spirito. Ma i desideri della carne portano alla morte, mentre i desideri dello Spirito portano alla vita e alla pace.
Infatti i desideri della carne sono in rivolta contro Dio, perché non si sottomettono alla sua legge e neanche lo potrebbero. Quelli che vivono secondo la carne non possono piacere a Dio.
Voi però non siete sotto il dominio della carne, ma dello Spirito, dal momento che lo Spirito di Dio abita in voi. Se qualcuno non ha lo Spirito di Cristo, non gli appartiene. E se Cristo è in voi, il vostro corpo è morto a causa del peccato, ma lo spirito è vita a causa della giustificazione.
E se lo Spirito di colui che ha risuscitato Gesù dai morti abita in voi, colui che ha risuscitato Cristo dai morti darà la vita anche ai vostri corpi mortali per mezzo del suo Spirito che abita in voi".
Abbiamo meditato nei giorni scorsi in merito ai doni dello Spirito Santo, abbiamo anche compreso che la loro presenza deve necessariamente manifestare all'esterno buoni effetti a maggior ragione se in noi ci sono i frutti dello Spirito di Dio .
Vi sintetizzo di seguito i frutti che mettono in evidenza l'azione dello Spirito Santo in un'anima:
La bontà è la disposizione del cuore buono, è la materia prima di coloro  che non pensano mai a far del male e desiderano il bene di tutti.
La benevolenza richiede uno sforzo per fare sempre del bene a tutti, senza pensare a propri interessi.
L'amore è l’antagonista dell’egoismo, è quel sentimento caratterizzato dal perdono come dono per chi ha sbagliato.
La gioia allontana ogni forma di chiusura lasciando spazio al buonumore per trasmettere felicità.
La pace è l'atteggiamento di chi non porta alcun risentimento e dimentica il passato .
La pazienza porta consiglio e una maggiore maturità spirituale.
La fedeltà è l’essenza del vero cristiano è la fedeltà a Dio e alla famiglia, all'amicizia. Gesù richiede a tutti una fedeltà convinta e piena, non esiste comunione con Lui se non mostriamo nei fatti una sincera fedeltà alla Sua Parola.
La mitezza è docilità intelligente e non  passività causata dalla paura. La mitezza infonde determinazione.
Il dominio di sé è la padronanza degli istinti, l'abilità del proprio controllo, il dominio delle parole, dei pensieri, delle opere.
La presenza dello Spirito Santo plasma l'anima fino a renderla buona, mite, forte nel dominarsi. Senza la Sua azione ineffabile in noi, nessuno è in grado di elevarsi verso l'alto, nessuno riesce a vivere il Vangelo come ci chiede Gesù.

+ Vangelo (Mt 5,13-16)
Voi siete la luce del mondo.

B – Quanti sono i veri credenti che seguono in modo autentico Gesù Cristo?
La Parola di Dio non viene accolta dal 90% della popolazione mondiale, su un miliardo di cattolici solamente una minima parte, il 15% circa, frequenta la Santa Messa e vive coerentemente, scegliendo  Gesù come loro vera unica guida.
Poi ci sono gli Ortodossi cristiani, gli Anglicani e le indecifrate comunità protestanti, tutti praticanti che non osservano la vera Fede e questa introduzione, serve a farci comprendere  quanta Luce è diffusa nel mondo dai veri seguaci di Gesù.
Se i cristiani autentici sono pochi nel mondo, è minima anche la Luce del Vangelo, sono rari i testimoni e non brilla nel mondo la Parola di Dio.
La Luce indicata da Gesù come presenza del Suo Spirito ed effusione di verità e di giustizia non brilla più nel mondo.
Il mondo si trova al buio, in assenza di valori e moralità, le tenebre hanno raggiunto una coltre troppo spessa e nessuna forza umana potrà squarciarla. Potrei elencare tantissimi esempi, ma uno è sufficiente per comprendere cosa è avvenuto contro la santità della Chiesa: nella nuova Costituzione Ue è stata impedita la citazione della cultura cristiana.
Merito questo, dei potenti anticlericali impegnati nella distruzione della Chiesa. È  ammissibile una Unione europea non cristiana inserita in una Europa cristiana?
Tra favorevoli e contrari alla fine hanno vinto questi ultimi e più specificatamente  le fortissime pressioni di due sole Nazioni, il Belgio e la Francia, che si sono battute per vietare il riferimento ai valori cristiani.
Cosa si trova di così inosservabile o non ottemperabile nei valori cristiani?
Ma non facciamoci  ingannare da ciò che sembra, perché  quando si riuniscono molti potenti di diverse Nazioni o di diversi gruppi imprenditoriali, decidono chi dovrà esporsi per comunicare qualcosa di paradossale, affinchè la responsabilità non ricada sull’intera organizzazione.
Il presidente francese  Chirac, è stato il più ostinato oppositore alla citazione della cultura cristiana. Francia e Belgio si sono battuti senza ragionevole spiegazione, per il no all'inserimento nella Carta Ue del riferimento al Cristianesimo. Due Paesi hanno imposto la loro volontà alla stragrande maggioranza degli altri Paesi dell'Unione europea. Questa è forse democrazia? Ma è possibile che due decidano per quasi trenta?
Tutti noi europei siamo legati alle radici cristiane, sarebbe paradossale negarlo.
Un Cardinale francese disse nel 2004: "Come sarebbe dannoso se l'Europa non mettesse la sua anima e le sue radici culturali al servizio dei popoli più bisognosi. Ma se tutto viene misurato col metro dell'economia, della finanza e delle cifre, senza nessun aperto riferimento alle proprie radici culturali, non si andrà molto lontano".
Mi sono dilungato su questo argomento per non dimenticare che molti potenti vogliono abbattere quel Cristianesimo puro e intriso di valori morali, per rifondere  una società senza morale, dove tutto diventa lecito, senza alcun limite nella trasgressione.
Per realizzare l'idea di società senza inibizione o divieti morali, devono ridimensionare il Cristianesimo fino a rimuoverlo.
Come si spiega altrimenti la vergognosa indifferenza verso i poveri fratelli africani che muoiono nel Canale di Sicilia o vengono fatti sbarcare per poi tenerli chiusi in luoghi poco decorosi? Se l'Europa chiede all'Italia di lasciare entrare gli immigrati, se ne faccia carico e provveda non solo alle spese,  ma anche alle sistemazioni dignitose.
E poi mi chiedo: perché in Spagna è legalmente consentito sparare agli immigrati che sbarcano, e in  Francia ne vietano l’ ingresso, mentre all’Italia viene fatto obbligo di aprire  le porte? L'Europa non si indigna  della Spagna che spara agli immigrati né della Francia che li rigetta, solo nei riguardi dell’Italia si applica una politica pressante e intimidatoria .
Non vi sembra che ci sia qualcosa di strano nella differente metodologia di accoglienza?
Perché questo diverso approccio di gestione riguardo al preoccupante e dilagante fenomeno degli immigrati?
Dobbiamo altresì considerare la falsa aspettativa data a centinaia di milioni di africani, parlando di accoglienza a “tutti i costi”. Non è forse questo un invito a salire sulle barche e sui gommoni per tentare la fortuna? Da un lato ci si mostra vicini agli immigrati, dall'altro non si fa nulla per aiutarli.
Donde arriva allora la simulata preoccupazione per gli immigrati? Perché nessuno si preoccupa dopo avergli promesso un futuro nel nostro Paese di accoglierli in luoghi dignitosi e sostenerli nei loro bisogni primari?
Vi ho parlato in questa mia catechesi di questo tema perché come altri, mi sta particolarmente a cuore e sollecito il mio invito a pregare per le intenzioni della Madonna attraverso la Corona del Rosario.
Circa tre anni fa ho dato inizio alla Cordata spirituale, un impegno giornaliero di recitare una Corona per le intenzioni della Madonna e per tutti gli Associati, una grande opportunità di preghiera comunitaria.
Riceviamo preghiere da migliaia di partecipanti.
Da questo momento vi considero tutti iscritti alla Cordata spirituale, a condizione che si reciti almeno una Corona del Rosario al giorno per le intenzioni della Madonna. Si può recitare a qualsiasi ora, anche se noi abbiamo l'impegno di recitare il Rosario alle 10,30, alle 11,30, alle 18 e alle 20,30. Oppure in tutte le ore.
Consentiamo  all'Immacolata la Sua potente forza di intercessione con le nostre Corone giornaliere; facciamolo per noi e per l’estremo bisogno del Suo aiuto nelle nostre vite ma anche per le sorti della Chiesa e del nostro Paese.
L'indefettibilità della Chiesa è la perfezione, validità continua ed immutabile, non verrà mai meno. L'Italia la perduto la sovranità.

+ Vangelo (Mt 10,7-13)
Gratuitamente avete ricevuto, gratuitamente date.

C – Una caratteristica imprescindibile del Sacerdote  è la messa a disposizione del proprio tempo e la dedizione completa al bene delle anime. Nell'ordinazione ha deposto la sua volontà a Dio e dovrebbe ripetere con San Paolo: "Non sono più io che vivo ma Cristo vive in me" (Gal 2,20).
Rileggiamo il versetto completo per comprendere quale disposizione interiore muoveva l'Apostolo: "Sono stato crocifisso con Cristo e non sono più io che vivo, ma Cristo vive in me. Questa vita nella carne, io la vivo nella Fede del Figlio di Dio, che mi ha amato e ha dato se stesso per me".
Il sacrificio di Gesù sulla Croce, è stato un atto di amore infinito attraverso cui ogni cristiano è stato redento.
La gratitudine per quanto ci è stato donato in maniera volontaria e gratuita, è la risposta delle anime sensibili e un riconoscimento sincero che si prova riflettendo sulla Passione di Gesù. Non è affatto spontaneo ringraziare Gesù per quello che ha fatto per ciascuno di noi, si arriva a questa forma di ringraziamento solo attraverso la considerazione dei suoi patimenti.
Davanti al Crocifisso si sono formati i Santi, meditando sulle piaghe e sulla morte del Signore per comprendere quanto ci ama Dio.
Gesù ripete ai cristiani "Predicate", e tutti i cristiani possono annunciare che il Signore è vivo con la testimonianza di una vita integra. Consacrati e laici possono illuminare molti con l'esempio della loro vita onesta.
Nella lettura del Vangelo di oggi, percepisco un'ansia intrattenibile in Gesù di salvare l'umanità, ma come potrà avvenire questo se gli apostoli che Lo seguono con coerenza sono pochi? Gesù ha bisogno di uomini e donne coerenti per far conoscere ai peccatori la Sua misericordia.
Oggi dobbiamo obbligatoriamente fermarci a riflettere e chiederci cosa abbiamo fatto noi per Gesù in questi anni, se abbiamo vinto l'egoismo e abbiamo dedicato del tempo alla diffusione della Parola o se, alternativamente, ci siamo accontentati di rimanere spettatori. Spettatore è colui che ritiene sufficiente una sua presenza alla Messa festiva e la recita di una preghiera giornaliera.
E’ un dovere secondo voi ringraziare Gesù aiutandolo nella nuova evangelizzazione?
In molti casi, non si fa nulla nell'apostolato e non si compie alcuno sforzo per vincere le proprie debolezze e praticare le virtù. Non è assolutamente sufficiente accontentarsi della Messa e di alcune preghiere, il vero cammino spirituale richiede ogni giorno degli sforzi per vincere le passioni disordinate, controllare gli impulsi, abbattere i vizi e reagire alle debolezze.
Gli apostoli che si impegnano e mettono Gesù al centro della loro vita, vengono ricolmati di Grazie, divenendo anime predilette.
Agli apostoli di tutti i tempi Gesù dà il mandato di operare nel suo Nome con una potenza infinita perché è quella di Dio: "Guarite gli infermi, risuscitate i morti, purificate i lebbrosi, scacciate i demoni".
Anche i laici possono avere un potere fortissimo sui diavoli, Luisa Picarreta  è stato un grande esempio. I laici  che conducono un’ intensa vita spirituale si purificano, si elevano molto in alto, conquistando giorno dopo giorno la fiducia di Gesù, la loro preghiera diventa potente e i diavoli li temono.
L’intensa vicinanza a Dio non deve confondere i laici che devono Pregare senza dimenticare che le loro, non possono essere preghiere di esorcismo, ma di liberazione. Sarà la Fede a compiere meraviglie di Grazia.

+ Vangelo (Mt 5,20-26)
Chiunque si adira con il proprio fratello dovrà essere sottoposto a giudizio.

D – Il tempo in cui Gesù affermava queste parole non era certo il tempo in cui esistevano gli armamenti nucleari o le guerre combattute con la mitraglia e il cannone, come oggi i quotidiani raccontano. Sono parole attualissime, forse un po’ difficili da interpretare. In Gesù è ben radicato il peccato di Caino contro il fratello Abele, negli insegnamenti ricorda a tutti gli esseri umani che il veleno dell’odio si insidia tra gli uomini e maggiormente nelle loro famiglie.
Non è ancora chiaro a questa società, il pericolo di come anche piccoli dissapori, le mancanze di amore e di rispetto, nel tempo tendono a trasformarsi in avversione dapprima e successivamente in astio. Ma la discesa rovinosa non è ancora finita, l'astio causa rancore e questo risentimento fa nascere l'odio. La persona che odia è infelice, la persona odiata vive con molta insicurezza.
L'odio mette in pericolo l'esistenza stessa del mondo.
Gesù conosce perfettamente le dinamiche che si sviluppano nel cuore di chi è senza Dio e a tutti ripete che bisogna eliminare l'insulto dal linguaggio comune. La persona che riceve un insulto subisce una ferita profonda e lancinante, che può porla in isolamento fino alla disperazione.
Sono due le parole condannate da Gesù oggi che vanno debellate: stupido e pazzo. Letteralmente la traduzione di stupido è vuoto, frivolo. Pazzo in ebraico si traduce con maledetto da Dio, infame.
A quel tempo gli ebrei utilizzavano con facilità questi insulti anche per piccole contrarietà e si ergevano a giudici.
All'inizio della Parola di oggi Gesù indica una misura per non sbagliare e perdere la salvezza eterna: vivere nella giustizia.
"Io vi dico: se la vostra giustizia non supererà quella degli scribi e dei farisei, non entrerete nel Regno dei Cieli".
La parola giustizia indica l'uomo giusto, chi agisce con onestà, imparzialità, rettitudine, equità. Buona preghiera a tutti.

The devotion to the Holy Spirit is true only when you are taking behaviors spiritual, failing that one can not speak of 'act of God in the soul. The spiritual fruits reveal the true identity of a person beyond words.

Therefore prepare now to read this Gospel passage and reflect and meditate on for at least ten minutes:
"By their fruits ye shall know them. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? So every good tree bears good fruit and every bad tree bears bad fruit; a good tree can not bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit " (Mt 7.16 to 18).
The meaning of the words of Jesus brings our attention to distinguish the person who sins out of weakness by the person sins because he is corrupt soul, which lives for evil and rejoices in front of the suffering of others.
There is a scale of wickedness that for its complexity and irrationality can not even consider aa; certain is that people who have committed wickedness voluntary although minimal, always have the option to repair and start a holy life.
The analysis of Paul to the Romans shows the effects of human behavior: "Brethren, those who live according to the flesh do mind the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. But the desires of the flesh is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
Indeed the carnal mind is enmity against God, it is not subject to the law neither can it be. Those who are in the flesh can not please God.
But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, since the Spirit of God dwells in you. If someone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to him. And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the spirit is life because of righteousness.
And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you. "
We meditated in recent days about the gifts of the Holy Spirit, we also understood that their presence must necessarily act out good effects even more so if we are the fruits of the Spirit of God.
I summarize below the fruits that highlight the action of the Holy Spirit in the soul:
Goodness is the good disposition of the heart, is the raw material of those who never think of hurting and desire the good of all.
Benevolence requires effort to always do good to all, without thinking of their own interests.
Love is the antagonist of selfishness, that feeling is characterized by forgiveness as a gift for those who did wrong.
The joy away any form of closure, leaving room for humor to convey happiness.
Peace is the attitude of those who do not carry any resentment and forget the past.
Patience brings counsel and greater spiritual maturity.
Faithfulness is the essence of the true Christian is fidelity to God and to the family, friendship. Jesus requires all convinced faithfulness and full, there is no communion with Him if we do not show in fact a sincere loyalty to His Word.
Meekness is intelligent docility and liabilities caused by fear. Meekness instills determination.
Self-mastery is the mastery of the instincts, the ability of its control, the domain of words, thoughts, works.
The presence of the Holy Spirit forms the soul up to make it good, mild, strong in the master himself. Without His ineffable action in us, no one is able to rise to the top, no one can live the gospel as Jesus asks us.

I have dwelt on this topic not to forget that many powerful want to break down that Christianity pure and imbued with moral values, to repay a society without moral, where everything is permitted, without any limit in the transgression.
To realize the idea of society without inhibition or moral prohibitions, must resize Christianity up to remove it.
How else do you explain the shameful indifference to the poor fellow Africans who die in the Sicilian Channel or are disembarked and then keep them closed in poorly decent? If Europe asks Italy to let in immigrants, they take charge and provides for not only the costs, but also to decent accommodation.
And then I wonder why Spain is legally allowed to shoot immigrants landing, and France prohibit the 'entrance, while Italy is obliged to open the doors? Europe is not outraged Spain's shooting immigrants nor France that rejects them, only against Italy applies a pressing political and intimidating.
Do not you think that there is something odd about the different methods of acceptance?
Why this different management approach with respect to the worrying and widespread phenomenon of immigrants?
We must also consider the false expectation given to hundreds of millions of Africans, speaking of welcome to "all costs". Is this not an invitation to get boats and rafts for groped luck? On the one hand it is shown close to the immigrants, on the other hand nothing is done to help them.
Whence then comes the feigned concern for immigrants? Because nobody cares after promises a future in our country to accept them in places decent and support them in their basic needs?
I talked about this in my catechesis of this issue because like others, is particularly close to the heart and prompt my invitation to pray for the intentions of Our Lady through the Rosary beads.

We allow the Immaculate His mighty power of intercession with our crowns daily; let's do it for us and for the ultimate need blessings in our lives but also for the fate of the Church and of our country.

C - An essential feature of the priest is the provision of their time and complete dedication to the good of souls. Ordination has deposed his will to God and should repeat with Saint Paul: "It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me" (Gal 2:20).

The sacrifice of Jesus on the cross, was an act of infinite love by which every Christian has been redeemed.
Gratitude for what has been given voluntarily and free of charge, is the response of sensitive souls and sincere recognition that you try reflecting on the Passion of Jesus. It is not at all spontaneous thank Jesus for what He has done for each of us, It comes to this form of thanksgiving only through consideration of his sufferings.
Before the Crucifix were formed Saints, meditate on the wounds and death of the Lord to understand how God loves us.

Today we must stop and think and ask us what we did to Jesus in these years, we won the selfishness and we took time to spread the word, or, alternatively, we have been content to remain spectators. Spectator is the one who believes a sufficient presence to attend Sunday Mass and the recitation of a prayer daily.

In many cases, nothing is done in the apostolate and not accomplished any effort to overcome their weaknesses and practice them. Is definitely not enough to settle the Mass and some prayers, the true spiritual path requires daily efforts to win the disordered passions, control impulses, reduce defects and response to weaknesses.

Even lay people can have a strong power over devils, Luisa Picarreta was a great example. The laity who lead a 'intense spiritual life purify themselves, rise very high, gaining confidence every day of Jesus, their prayers become powerful and devils fear them.
The intense closeness to God should not confuse the laity who must pray without forgetting that they can not be prayers of exorcism, but liberation. Faith will be to work wonders of grace.

Everyone who is angry with his brother will be liable to judgment.
D - The time when Jesus said these words was not the time when there were nuclear weapons or the wars fought with machine guns and cannon, as today's newspapers tell. "I tell you, unless your righteousness surpasses that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the Kingdom of Heaven."
