A - Oggi inizia la Quaresima e non possiamo rimanere indifferenti. Non possiamo lasciarla passare senza avere compiuto personalmente quelle opere buone che servono ad alimentare la vita spirituale..
B - La stragrande maggioranza dei credenti è presa dalle cose del mondo, non ha tempo per Gesù e non cura minimamente la propria anima, lasciandola in agonia e senza quella Luce Divina, indispensabile per non rimanere nelle tenebre e sbagliare sempre le scelte.
C - Il Vangelo è per ogni essere umano la guida indispensabile per non fallire nella vita, però la stragrande maggioranza lo rifiuta, oppure lo legge senza interesse, altri ancora si illudono di osservarlo pienamente solo perché frequentano qualche gruppo di preghiera, mentre sono pochi i cristiani che lo osservano con grande amore.
D - Dobbiamo seguire Gesù con il distintivo della carità, seguirlo da vicino con fatti concreti, cercando l'occasione di essere utili, di procurare gioia a chi ci sta vicino, coscienti che mai progrediremo abbastanza in questa virtù.
E - Per chi non crede in Dio, non si interessa dell'immortalità dell'anima, non teme l'inferno, è un piacere fare ricorso alla magia nera per averne vantaggi.
F - Ogni essere umano porta con sé anche il vizio della superbia, però i cristiani che pregano riescono a depotenziare questa bomba anche perché l'Amore di Gesù che li riveste, scaccia le inclinazioni negative e le debolezze.

A - Gesù ripete per sette volte il significato della parola ricompensa: Dio che premia i credenti che osservano le sue Leggi e vivono virtuosamente. Sono pochi però i cristiani che riflettono con serietà sulla necessità di osservare i Comandamenti per amore del Padre, per diventare migliori e vincere tutte le tentazioni che arrivano dalle proprie debolezze e dai diavoli.
Oggi inizia la Quaresima e non possiamo rimanere indifferenti. Non possiamo lasciarla passare senza avere compiuto personalmente quelle opere buone che servono ad alimentare la vita spirituale. Non si migliora mai senza il nutrimento dell'Amore di Dio, un Amore che ci viene donato come premio per la nostra vita onesta, sincera, autentica.
Questo è il tempo per vincere con maggiore determinazione i vizi che ci opprimono e non ci  lasciano liberi di scegliere la Verità del Vangelo, è il periodo per riflettere sulla propria spiritualità e rientrare in sé, fare luce per mettere ordine dove c'è ancora molta confusione. Non si conclude nulla quando si sta con un piede in due staffe, si rimane sempre legati a situazioni che affliggono e che non permettono di avanzare nel cammino di Fede.
Chi tiene il piede in due scarpe prima o poi rimane scalzo. Non si possono servire due padroni. Bisogna tagliare le opere cattive.
La Quaresima si caratterizza nel cristiano con tre aspetti da osservare più di ogni cosa: l'elemosina, la preghiera, il digiuno. Tutti e tre ci mettono in relazione e non possiamo fingere distrazione. L'elemosina ci mette in relazione con il prossimo, con ogni persona bisognosa di aiuti. Non serve a nulla tenere a casa abiti non più utilizzati, ci sono poveri che non possono comprare neanche un maglione. Oppure conservare molti soldi e ignorare i meno fortunati.
L'elemosina sincera non è autentica quando si da il superfluo. E’ già qualcosa,  però bisogna fare di più e dare anche ciò che piace.
La preghiera ci apre a Dio e ci fa scoprire la bontà di un Padre che non ci abbandona mai. E’ il credente a distaccarsi perché attratto dalle cose del mondo. La preghiera è parlare con Dio, dirgli tutto e osservare la sua Parola, l'unica sincera ed efficace. Nessuno ci ama e ci aiuta come il Padre. Non merita ogni giorno in questa Quaresima preghiere di ringraziamento per quanto ci ha donato?
Si deve pregare di più e meglio, con più dedizione e interesse, è la preghiera ad ottenerci le Grazie e a renderci credibili figli di Dio.
Il digiuno ci relaziona con noi stessi. Invece di mangiare di tutto, per penitenza si dovrebbero eliminare quelle cose che ci piacciono di più e dovremmo offrire tutto alla Madonna, per le sue intenzioni. Il digiuno ci rende forti e più lucidi, ogni giorno scopriamo che la rinuncia volontaria a cibi e bevande superflue o l'interruzione delle lunghe ore appassionate trascorse a guardare la televisione, liberano la mente da una strana confusione e rafforzano la persona di una brillante determinazione. Il digiuno oltre a purificare il cuore da tante miserie, è un ottimo mezzo per tonificare il corpo, è igienico, riassetta le funzioni principali.
Ci sono tre motivazioni molto importanti e che consigliano i medici per osservare il digiuno e purificare il nostro organismo. Sono rispettivamente a livello fisico, psicologico e spirituale.
Non tutti conoscono il significato del digiuno quaresimale, vediamo il senso e lo scopo del digiuno quaresimale.
Esso è segno della nostra volontà di riparazione: "Non digiuniamo per la Pasqua, né per la Croce, ma per i nostri peccati", afferma San Giovanni Crisostomo. Espiare vuol dire rimediare al nostro male con il bene.
È anche segno della nostra astinenza dal peccato: come dice il Vescovo Sant'Agostino: "Il digiuno veramente grande, quello che impegna tutti gli uomini, è l'astinenza dalle iniquità, dai peccati e dai piaceri illeciti del mondo". La mortificazione del corpo è segno della conversione dello spirito, mortificare vuol dire dominare il corpo.
Il Mercoledì delle Ceneri e il Venerdì Santo sono giorni di digiuno dal cibo e di astinenza dalla carne e dai cibi ricercati o costosi. I Venerdì di Quaresima sono giorni di astinenza dalla carne e dai cibi ricercati o costosi. Negli altri venerdì dell’anno, i fedeli possono sostituire l'astinenza dalla carne con altre opere (azioni) di carattere penitenziale.
Al digiuno sono tenuti i fedeli dai diciotto anni compiuti ai sessanta incominciati; all'astinenza dalla carne i fedeli che hanno compiuto i quattordici anni. Anche coloro che non sono tenuti all'osservanza del digiuno, i bambini e i ragazzi, si devono formare al genuino senso della penitenza cristiana.
Il digiuno prescritto dalla Chiesa, è estremamente semplice perché adatto a qualsiasi persona. È qualcosa che appartiene alla nostra storia, alla grande tradizione del Cristianesimo. Non è un digiuno di tutto riposo, perché troppo facile da mettere in pratica. Ogni digiuno è uno sforzo. Questo modo di digiunare viene dalla tradizione della Chiesa e può essere praticato da tutti, senza eccezione.
Ci sono varie forme di digiuno, la Madonna ha chiesto quello a pane e acqua  mentre quello osservato da chi ha quasi paura di mangiare solo pane e bere acqua, è costituito da un solo pasto nella giornata, diminuendo la quantità e la ricercatezza del cibo.
La colazione si può fare come d'abitudine, poi si deve consumare un pasto durante il resto della giornata. Si deve avvertire a tavola la privazione di qualcosa che piace di più, comunque ogni digiuno viene fatto con responsabilità, secondo le proprie necessità alimentari.
Se a pranzo si mangia il pasto completo ma di minore quantità, a cena si fa solo uno spuntino. Bisogna imparare la disciplina, non mangiare al di fuori dei tre pasti, e mangiare per sostenere il corpo e non per golosità. Chi si controlla e non fa spuntini fuori pasto nella giornata, ha già fatto uno sforzo, un qualcosa in più.
Evitare completamente, durante la giornata, tutte quelle cose che si mangiano solitamente come le caramelle, i dolci, i cioccolatini, i biscotti e altro. Ignorare le bevande rinfrescanti ed il caffè. Sembra poco ma è una grande mortificazione e di quelle impegnative. Così non si soffre la fame e si diventa pronti per passare a quello a pane e acqua quando si vorrà, una o due volte a settimana.
Infine c'è il digiuno stretto. E’ quello più difficile, praticato dai credenti più maturi e forti. Non si mangia nulla tutto il giorno. Buona preghiera a tutti.

B - Ieri è iniziata la Quaresima ma per moltissimi cattolici non è cambiato nulla. È vero che devono essere i parroci a trainare tutti i parrocchiani e a coinvolgerli, però si nota che circa il 15% dei cattolici frequenta la Messa e quindi è in grado di ascoltare eventuali insegnamenti sulla Quaresima, mentre il 85% circa ha dimenticato la preghiera sincera, interiore e fiduciosa.
La stragrande maggioranza dei credenti è presa dalle cose del mondo, non ha tempo per Gesù e non cura minimamente la propria anima, lasciandola in agonia e senza quella Luce Divina, indispensabile per non rimanere nelle tenebre e sbagliare sempre le scelte. Questi credenti, per la tragica ripetizione di molti peccati, hanno perduto pure l'immagine e la somiglianza di Dio, essi sono pericolosi a se stessi e alle loro cose.
Molti di quanti sono compresi nel 85% sono persone brave, ma non frequentano i Sacramenti... Sono anche indisciplinati.
Quel 15% di cattolici che frequenta, è da valutare come indefinibile. Non tutti seguono e cercano la sana dottrina della Chiesa, la maggior parte è vicina al modernismo e desidera molte aperture che Gesù nel Vangelo ha già indicato come eretiche per quanti le effettueranno. È inammissibile modificare il Vangelo, o altre parole della Sacra Scrittura, solo Dio ne ha l'autorità, e noi non possiamo assolutamente fare diversamente dagli insegnamenti di Gesù.
Chi modifica una sola parola non è seguace di Gesù Cristo, è contro Cristo. Può essere un Sacerdote, un Vescovo, un Cardinale, un teologo.
In questa Quaresima dobbiamo riflettere anche sull'attacco micidiale da parte dei poteri forti contro la Chiesa e il Vangelo storico.
Voglio darvi un consiglio su come entrare meglio nello spirito della Quaresima. Ho parlato tantissime volte della meditazione, adesso l'applico a questo Tempo forte. Ieri avete letto la mia Catechesi e il contenuto invitava a vivere questo periodo in modo assolutamente serio, impegnato. Non è però sufficiente leggere una volta sola  la Catechesi di ieri, dovete riprenderla e riflettere sulle parole senza alcuna premura.
Dopo avere letto una frase, fermatevi e rimodulatela con parole vostre per trarne poi le risposte. Faccio un esempio: "Perché la Quaresima è un tempo di penitenza?". Trovate voi la risposta, ognuno risponde in base alle sue conoscenze, e qualcuno dice: "Per amare di più Gesù, meditare sulla sua Passione e sul suo grande amore per me, riparare i miei peccati e propormi una vita migliore".
Questa risposta bisogna ripeterla molte volte trovando altre risposte spirituali e che infervorano. Così in pochi minuti il contenuto della risposta diventa parte di voi, lo credete fermamente, avete creato una spinta straordinaria in voi per agire con grande determinazione e convinzione.
Non solamente ogni frase che vi colpisce, ma tutte le frasi della Catechesi di ieri devono essere memorizzate in voi. Dovete scolpirle nel cuore e nella mente con la ripetizione commentata, cioè con parole vostre. Con il vivo amore verso Gesù e la sua Parola eterna.
Questo metodo è importante per fissare le Verità del Vangelo nel cuore e nella mente. Con facilità ricorderete e quindi attuerete con Fede. Buona preghiera a tutti.

C - Quanto indica oggi Gesù è possibile attuarlo solo se è presente un elevato grado di amore Divino. Ho già parlato del grado di amore Divino, diverso in ognuno perché ogni anima ha una sua storia personale e unica. È impossibile che due persone, anche familiari, facciano lo stesso identico cammino di Fede, in quanto ognuno ha le proprie esperienze personali, ha sentimenti esclusivi, pensieri e personalità.
Anche oggi Gesù ci rilascia tanti insegnamenti, e in effetti rimane difficile seguirli, praticarli, se non c'è un'applicazione proporzionata. Non si tratta di trascurare il lavoro o la famiglia, ma di evitare molte perdite di tempo, di utilizzare bene il tempo. Chi vuole meditare il Vangelo con calma e per averne molti vantaggi spirituali, riesce a farlo ogni giorno, si organizza e trova gli spazi di silenzio da dedicare alla cosa più importante: la Parola di Dio.
Il Vangelo è per ogni essere umano la guida indispensabile per non fallire nella vita, però la stragrande maggioranza lo rifiuta, oppure lo legge senza interesse, altri ancora si illudono di osservarlo pienamente solo perché frequentano qualche gruppo di preghiera, mentre sono pochi i cristiani che lo osservano con grande amore.
Hanno trovato nel Vangelo la guida, diventa la bussola e non lo lasciano più, anche a costo di rinunciare ad altro.
Gesù non impone a nessuno il Vangelo, è Dio Amore che rispetta la libertà di ognuno, nonostante Lui sia il Creatore di questi soggetti che poi decidono se seguirlo o meno. "Se qualcuno vuol venire dietro a me...".
Oggi Gesù afferma che è impossibile seguire Lui e non si rinuncia alla mentalità vecchia e peccaminosa. Senza rinnegamento non si può assolutamente accogliere il messaggio nuovo portato da Lui, ogni cristiano è chiamato a scegliere tra Lui e i piaceri effimeri.
Questa è il vero insegnamento di Gesù. Si seguono le sue orme quando si diventa maturi interiormente, dopo avere compreso l'inutilità di tante cose che solo per qualche giorno ci illudono di una inesistente felicità. Chi raggiunge una certa maturità spirituale è forte dinanzi alle prove della vita ed affronta le sofferenze con gioia interiore e una speranza che arreca molta pace.
Non è facile prendere la propria croce con amore, molti lo fanno per interesse, per non perdere qualcosa o qualcuno.
Invece, chi prende la propria croce con umiltà e amore, scopre una Luce che illumina ogni cosa, fa vedere con occhi nuovi quanto prima non riusciva a percepire, ama tutti senza interessi personali ma in quanto fratelli e sorelle.
Chi si dimentica dell’effimero, nel senso che mortifica la superbia e l'orgoglio, perde la propria vita corrotta e viziosa, la perde perché vuole perderla, quindi lasciarla, abbandonarla. È possibile dimenticarsi del superfluo e non vivere più di egoismo e di mediocrità, la forza arriva dalla preghiera e dai Sacramenti.
Molti pregano solo in determinati momenti della giornata, quando invece la vita deve diventare preghiera, compiendo tutto per amore di Gesù, con onestà, verità, giustizia, amore e rispetto degli altri.
Molti cristiani hanno gli occhi bendati dalla corruzione e non vedono più il bene da fare e il male da evitare. Eppure tutti viviamo le nostre esperienze quotidiane. Non possiamo tornare indietro per evitare certi errori ma dovremmo almeno aver acquisito la consapevolezza di averli fatti. Molti prendono continue cantonate e rimangono sempre convinti di opinioni sbagliate o ripetono errori gravi: essi non vogliono vedere la Luce e si illudono di stare bene.
Molti arrivati ad un'età avanzata riflettono sulla vita trascorsa e ripetono: "Che cosa mi rimane aldilà di tutto quello che ho voluto guadagnare e ho conservato con bramosia? Che senso ha avuto guadagnare tanto se adesso lascio tutto qui, a persone che forse non mi amano e che attendono la mia morte? Tutti gli sforzi per racimolare tanti beni, e dopo avere danneggiato altre persone, a cosa mi sono serviti?".
Non tutti arrivano a questa sincerità, però vicini alla morte anche i cattivi trovano un accenno di verità. I cristiani oltre a queste riflessioni devono pure domandarsi, se è preferibile vivere tra trastulli e piaceri mondani oppure salvare la propria anima. L'anima vale più di tutti i tesori del mondo! Buona preghiera a tutti.

D - La regola dell'amore è di trattare bene tutti, occorre stimare ogni persona almeno per una sua buona caratteristica. Non è facile agire sempre spinti dalla carità verso tutti, si è portati con facilità a giudicare o a disapprovare chi non è simpatico.
La vera carità è quella portata a chi non ci stima, chi ci calunnia e diffama, verso chi si sente nemico, verso tutti.
Devo precisare il significato di carità, altrimenti qualcuno si confonde. Ciò che ho indicato sopra è sinonimo di amore, affetto, bontà, umanità, altruismo. C'è un altro significato di carità e si coglie quando si parla di elemosina, beneficenza, generosità, offerta.
La carità intesa come amore dobbiamo viverla in ogni occasione e circostanza. Si manifesta anche nella comprensione per coloro che sono nell'errore, ma deve rimanere sempre la fermezza di fronte alla verità e al bene. La carità va vissuta superando i criteri umani, ma nelle relazioni sociali non possiamo mostrarci ingenui e dobbiamo vivere la giustizia anche per far rispettare i propri diritti.
Allo stesso modo dobbiamo vivere con prudenza, senza che, però, ci sembri eccessiva qualsiasi rinuncia o sacrificio per il bene degli altri.
Dobbiamo seguire Gesù con il distintivo della carità, seguirlo da vicino con fatti concreti, cercando l'occasione di essere utili, di procurare gioia a chi ci sta vicino, coscienti che mai progrediremo abbastanza in questa virtù.
Ogni giorno è una nuova sfida contro noi stessi, da una parte la nostra natura ci tira verso le comodità e l'affermazione delle nostre opinioni, dalla parte la carità ci invita a fare sempre del bene, a rispettare gli altri, ad amare anche quelli che ci odiano.
La norma del cristiano non è l'occhio per occhio come vige nel mondo, è quella di fare costantemente il bene.
La carità ci porta a essere comprensivi, a scusare, a saper convivere con tutti, e dunque il rispetto e l'amore deve estendersi pure a coloro che pensano o operano diversamente da noi nelle cose sociali, politiche e persino religiose. Questa è la pratica dell'amore e dell'amabilità, non rimaniamo indifferenti ai bisogni altrui.
La carità che fuoriesce dal Vangelo, e che viene assimilata da quanti si impegnano con fervore quotidiano, purifica il cuore e lo rende grande, capace di amare tutti e di non provare risentimenti verso alcuno.
È l'unione con Dio a rendere fecondo il nostro agire, è la sua Grazia a trasformarci in nuove creature, questo è già avvenuto a miliardi di credenti in questi duemila anni e avverrà sempre quando ci saranno persone desiderose di vivere, agire, comportarsi, secondo il Cuore di Gesù.
Il cristiano deve sempre mostrare di saper convivere con tutti, in famiglia, al lavoro e in Associazione. Il suo comportamento deve apparire come un traboccare di affetto soprannaturale e di cordialità umana, superando la tendenza all'egoismo e allo stare chiuso tra i propri interessi.
La vera carità ci porta a vivere l'amicizia con un profondo senso cristiano. Oggi l'amicizia è in crisi. Di chi ci si può fidare se non si osservano i valori cristiani?  È una scommessa fidarsi degli altri. Noi però mostriamoci sempre sinceri, onesti e affidabili. Buona preghiera a tutti.

E - Ho sentito la notizia dei furti delle Ostie consacrate a Torino. Si tratta di cinque sacrilegi negli ultimi mesi. Non si sono limitati a rubare la pisside con le Ostie, ma hanno anche sradicato  il Tabernacolo con la Pisside e lo hanno portato via, quasi a voler significare che non bisogna più conservare e adorare Gesù in Eucaristia. In effetti, per Satana,  l'adorazione dell'Eucaristia è una grande minaccia, e così egli trova il modo di eliminarla.
Torino, Praga e Lione fanno parte del triangolo malefico, sono città ad alto potenziale satanico, ove i seguaci di satana sono moltissimi.
In Italia rimane sempre Torino la città in cui risiedono molti satanisti, e ove non scherzano neppure altri che utilizzano la magia nera per averne vantaggi, senza preoccuparsi minimamente dei danni che causano agli altri. Con la magia nera si può manipolare molto, accrescere le opportunità nel  lavoro o danneggiare i concorrenti, falsare gare sportive e facilitare il successo personale o sportivo.
La magia nera è il ricorso all'aiuto dei diavoli. In questa pratica si chiede il loro intervento per ottenere ciò che magari non è lecito e in cambio i diavoli si prendono l'anima,  causano malattie gravissime che durano per anni, o addirittura provocano subito la morte.
Lo vediamo nei personaggi famosi che utilizzano con molta facilità la magia nera, anche nella città di Torino: hanno malattie strane, matrimoni falliti, adorano idoli e le perversioni, ed hanno i loro volti segnati da strane righe.
Per chi non crede in Dio, non si interessa dell'immortalità dell'anima, non teme l'inferno, è un piacere fare ricorso alla magia nera per averne vantaggi. Lo fanno anche proprietari di aziende per paura dell'invidia e chiedono ai maghi di proteggerli con gli amuleti. Non fanno caso se in realtà vengono usati simboli magici, ad essi interessa il risultato non il mezzo utilizzato per avere un buon risultato. Ignorano però le tremende conseguenze che causano i diavoli.
Ricorrono alla magia nera milioni di italiani, molti sono imprenditori, calciatori, cantanti e attori. Per un po’ di successo.
Il Vangelo oggi descrive uno strano caso di possessione, in realtà si tratta della modalità utilizzata dai diavoli per non farsi riconoscere. "Maestro, ho portato da te mio figlio, che ha uno spirito muto". I diavoli presenti in una persona possono rimanere camuffati per lunghi anni, anche per tutta la vita come accadde a questo uomo.
Le malattie strane, le negatività che si impregnano in ogni cosa, i litigi in famiglia, le incomprensioni tra coniugi sono però visibili.
Nel caso dell'uomo posseduto, i diavoli causavano disturbi molto violenti descritti così dal padre: "Dovunque lo afferri, lo getta a terra ed egli schiuma, digrigna i denti e si irrigidisce". Questi effetti esterni sono più difficili da verificarsi, mentre la stragrande maggioranza delle possessioni diaboliche agiscono nel silenzio. Sono spiriti muti, a lamentarsi sono le persone possedute e martoriate da malattie strane e da grandi problemi familiari.
Non è facile cacciarlo, lo riferì pure a Gesù: "Ho detto ai tuoi discepoli di scacciarlo, ma non ci sono riusciti". Gli Apostoli erano all'inizio della loro missione e non avevano grande esperienza, non erano ancora forti nello spirito, perché dinanzi ad una possessione diabolica occorre una Fede forte, una preghiera vissuta e la costante pratica della rinuncia. Soprattutto bisogna riconoscere la possessione diabolica e non scambiarla per malattia psichica come avviene spesso.
Il figlio soffriva da sempre, "dall’infanzia; anzi, spesso lo ha buttato anche nel fuoco e nell’acqua per ucciderlo". Il padre descriveva quelle reazioni con una forte intuizione, aveva compreso che erano i diavoli la causa delle malattie del figlio e chiedeva a Gesù la sua liberazione.
Pochi percepiscono la presenza dei diavoli, essi pregano di più per scacciarlo e chiedono protezione alla Madonna.
Molti dinanzi a problemi e impedimenti si abbattono e non riescono a reagire. Non ricorrono neanche alla preghiera, non si confessano né cambiano vita. I mali e i disturbi così aumentano. Ma tutto si può fermare ed è possibile ricominciare una vita felice e piena di pace, se si ricorre  alla confessione, alla Santa Messa, al Santo Rosario e si prega con amore la Madonna.
Gesù lo ha detto al padre del'uomo liberato dalla possessione: "Tutto è possibile per chi crede". Buona preghiera a tutti.

F - Cercare disperatamente di essere il primo, inteso come migliore di tutti e provare altezzosità nei confronti degli altri, è una pratica molto utilizzata ultimamente. Non che prima non fosse presente nei cuori di molte persone, oggi però c'è una vera esplosione della superbia, intesa come la volontà di conquistare per se stessi, con ogni mezzo, una posizione di privilegio sempre maggiore rispetto agli altri.
Si deve riconoscere e dimostrare di accettare la propria inferiorità correlata alla superiorità indiscutibile e schiacciante del superbo.
Ogni essere umano porta con sé anche il vizio della superbia, però i cristiani che pregano riescono a depotenziare questa bomba anche perché l'Amore di Gesù che li riveste, scaccia le inclinazioni negative e le debolezze.
I credenti con la preghiera acquisiscono molta Grazia e diventano migliori davanti a Dio e buoni verso tutti.
Nella dottrina morale cattolica la superbia è considerata il peccato peggiore tra i sette vizi capitali (Superbia, Avarizia, Lussuria, Invidia, Gola, Ira, Accidia), desideri ordinati verso lo spirito del male, satana, dai quali tutti i peccati traggono origine e che causano la morte dell'anima.
Ai vizi capitali sono contrapposte le tre virtù teologali (Fede, Speranza e Carità) e le quattro virtù cardinali (Giustizia, Fortezza, Temperanza, Prudenza). Il superbo tende a comportarsi in maniera malvagia perché ritiene di essere migliore degli altri. La superbia viene raffigurata pure da Dante nella Divina Commedia come il leone, una delle tre fiere.
La distinzione tra la ricerca di diventare il primo, spesso calpestando anche i diritti degli altri, e l'impegno per l'affermazione nel lavoro, mettendo in atto le proprie capacità, deve essere compresa senza sbagliare. È corretto impegnarsi per una promozione sociale che diventa anche vantaggiosa sotto vari aspetti, i talenti si devono utilizzare, le proprie capacità vanno mostrate senza avere alcuna vanagloria e presuntuosità verso gli altri.
Molti ambiscono al raggiungimento di posizioni predominanti, soprattutto tra i politici, però vediamo che se ciò diventa lo scopo della vita e non si avverte più l’impulso della propria coscienza, ci si trasforma in dittatori come il politico deposto alcuni giorni fa in Ucraina. La sua azione improntata sul comunismo sovietico, aveva fatto piazza pulita degli avversari. L'ex premier era stata incarcerata e condannata a sette anni per motivi non proprio chiari.
Quindi, si può diventare primo per servire e questa è volontà di Dio oppure per la superbia che chiude mente e cuore.
Gesù si affrettò a precisare agli Apostoli la gravità della ricerca del potere per il potere e non per servire tutti, a cominciare dai più poveri. L'amore cristiano deve spingere ad una apertura del cuore verso tutti, senza più provare invidia, senza più giudicare e condannare.
L'elevatezza e la difficoltà del cammino cristiano indicano che i premi che dona Gesù sono straordinari ed importantissimi per l'equilibrio psico-fisico. La Grazia di Gesù completa nella persona la maturità umana e la divinizza, la trasfigura e la rende simile a Lui.
Questo cammino di Fede che spesso si avverte un po’ forte, è in realtà la nostra vittoria sulle debolezze e su tutte le miserie umane.
Si prova grande gioia quando si superano sofferenze e prove per mezzo della preghiera e della penitenza: non si ricorda più il dolore. Buona preghiera a tutti.

A - Jesus repeats seven times the meaning of the word reward: God rewards the believers who observe his laws and live virtuously. However, there are few Christians who reflect seriously about the need to observe the Commandments to love of the Father, to become better and win all the temptations that come from their own weaknesses and from devils.
Today begins Lent and we cannot remain indifferent. We cannot let it pass without having accomplished personally those good works which serve to feed the spiritual life. Do not ever improves without the nourishment of God's Love, a Love that has been donated as a reward for our honest , sincere and genuine life.
This is the time to win with greater determination the vices that oppress us and do not leave us free to choose the Truth of the Gospel, it is the time to reflect on our spirituality and repossess ourselves, to shed light and to bring order where there is still a lot of confusion. We’re not going to close anything if we keep a foot in two brackets, we remain linked to situations that plague and which do not allow to advance on the path of Faith.
Who keeps the foot in two shoes sooner or later stays barefoot. You cannot serve two masters. We must cut the evil works.
Lent is characterized in the Christian with three aspects to be observed more than anything: Almsgiving, Prayer, Fasting. All three we relate and we cannot pretend distraction. Charity puts us in relationship to the next, with each person in need of aid. There is no use keeping at home clothes no longer used, there are poor who cannot buy a sweater. Or saving a lot of money and ignoring the less fortunate.
Begging is not authentic and sincere when made by the superfluous. It's just something, but we must do more and also give what we like.
Prayer opens us up to God and makes us discover the goodness of a Father who did not abandon us. It is the believer to break away because attracted by the things of the world. Prayer is talking to God, telling him everything and keeping his Word, the only sincere and effective. Nobody loves us and helps us as the Father. Does not deserves every day in this Lent prayers of  thanksgiving for what He has given to us?
We must pray more and better, with more dedication and interest. It is prayer to obtain graces and to make us credible sons of God.
Fasting is getting in relationship with ourselves. Instead of eating all everything, for penance we should delete those things that like more and we should offer them to Madonna, for her intentions. Fasting makes us stronger and shinier, every day we find that voluntary waiver to unnecessary food and drink, or  stopping long passionate hours spent watching television,  is freeing the mind from a strange confusion and strengthen the determination of a brilliant person. Fasting, in addition to purify the heart from many miseries, is a great way to tone our body, it is hygienic, and resets the main functions.
There are three very important reasons that doctors encourage to observe fasting and purify our body. They are at physical, psychological and spiritual level.
Not everybody knows the meaning of  Lenten fasting. So let us see the sense and the purpose of it.
It is a sign of our willingness to repair: "not fast for Easter, nor for the Cross, but for our sins", says St. John Chrysostom. Atone means remedy to our evil with the good.
It is also a sign of our abstention from sin: as Augustine Bishop says: "The fasting really great, what engages all men, is abstinence from iniquity, from sins and illicit pleasures of the world". The mortification of the body is a sign of the conversion of the spirit, mortify means dominate the body.
Ash Wednesday and Good Friday are days of fast and abstinence from food, from meat and refined or expensive foods. Fridays of Lent are days of abstinence from meat and refined or expensive foods. In the other Friday of the year, the faithful can replace abstinence from meat with other works (deeds) of penitential character.
Fasting are obliged the faithful by eighteen years to sixty started; abstinence from meat members who have completed the age of fourteen. Even those who are not required to comply with fasting, children,  must be formed to the genuine sense of Christian penance.
The fast prescribed by the Church, it is extremely simple because suitable for any person. It is something that belongs to our history, to the great tradition of Christianity. It is not a fast all rest, because it's too easy to put into practice. Each fasting is an effort. This way to fast comes from the tradition of the Church and can be practiced by everyone, without exception.
There are various forms of fasting. The Lady asked that on bread and water while that observed by those who are almost afraid to eat only bread and drink water, consists of only one meal during the day, reducing the quantity and sophistication of the food.
Breakfast can be done as usual, then you must have just a meal during the rest of the day. You must warn at the table the deprivation of something you like best, however each fasting must be done with responsibility, according to your food needs.
If you eat lunch full meal but of lesser amounts, dinner is just a snack. You have to learn the discipline, not eating outside of the three meals, and eat to support your body and not for goodies. Who is in self controls and makes no snacks between meals during the day, has already made an effort, a little more.
During the day you should  completely avoid all those things that usually are eaten as candies, sweets, chocolates, cookies and more. Skip soft drinks and coffee. This  seems a bit but it is a great mortification and a very challenging task. So doing, we do not suffer from hunger and we become ready to switch to that at bread and water, once or twice a week.
Finally there is the strict fasting. It is the most difficult one, practiced by the more mature and strong believers. It is where you do not eat anything all day.

B-Yesterday started the Lent but for many Catholics, nothing has changed. It is true that the parish priests to tow all parishioners and to get them involved, though we note that about 15% of Catholics attend Mass and then is able to listen to any teaching on Lent, while 85 percent forgot sincere, interior and confident prayer.
The vast majority of believers is taken by the things of the world, has no time for Jesus and not caring about his soul, leaving her in agony, and without that Divine Light, which is needful not to remain in darkness and not to always fail with our choices. These believers, for the tragic repetition of many sins, have lost the image and likeness of God, they are dangerous to themselves and to their things.
Many of those who are included in the 85% are brave people, but do not attend the Sacraments ... They are also undisciplined.
That 15% of Catholics who frequents, is being valued as indefinable. Not all of them follow and try the sound doctrine of the Church, the majority is close to modernism and want many openings that Jesus in the Gospel has already highlighted as heretical to those who will. It is unacceptable to change the Gospel, or other words of Sacred Scripture, God alone has the authority, and we cannot absolutely do differently from the teachings of Jesus.
Who changes a single word is not a follower of Jesus Christ, is against Christ. He can be a priest, a Bishop, a cardinal, a theologian.
During this Lent we must also reflect on the deadly attack by strong powers against the Church and the Gospel.
I want to give you advice on how to get better in the spirit of  Lent. I have spoken many times of meditation, now I apply it to  this Strong Time. Yesterday you read my Catechesis and its content requested to live this time absolutely serious, and engaged. However, it is not sufficient to read once the Catechesis of yesterday, you have to take it up and reflect on the words without any concern.
After reading a sentence, stop there and modulate it again with your words in order to draw then the answers. I make an example: "Why  Lent is a time of penance?". You should find the answer, and each of you should respond according to his knowledge, and someone says: "to love Jesus more, to meditate on his Passion and his great love for me, to repair my sins and have suggested a better life".
This response must be repeated many times by finding other spiritual responses that can get us excited. So in a few minutes the contents of the response becomes part of you, you firmly believe it,  you have created an extraordinary boost you to act with great determination and conviction.
Not just any phrase that strikes you, but all the sentences of the Catechesis of yesterday must be stored in you. You must sculpt them  in the hearts and minds with the repetition commented, i.e. with your words. With the live love toward Jesus and his eternal Word.
This method is important to establish the Truth of the Gospel in the heart and mind. You easily will recall and then you’ll implement with Faith.

C - What Jesus is telling us today can be implemented only if there is a high degree of Divine Love. I have already spoken of the degree of Divine Love, different in each of us because each core has its own and unique history. It is impossible for two people, even family members do the same journey of  Faith, because everyone has their own personal experiences, feelings, thoughts and personality.
Also today Jesus releases many teachings, and indeed remains difficult to follow them, practice them, if there is not a proportionate  application. This is not to overlook the work or family, but avoid many losses of time and use the time better. Who wants to meditate on the Gospel with calm and to have many advantages by it, can do this every day, organizing and finding the spaces of silence dedicated to the most important thing: the Word of God.
The Gospel is for every human being the essential guide not to fail in life, however the vast majority rejects it, or reads it without interest, others still are under the illusion to observe it fully just because they attend to a prayer group, while there are few Christians who observe it with great love.
They found in the Gospel the guide, which becomes the compass,  and they do not leave it more, even at the cost of giving up other things.
Jesus does not force anyone to the Gospel, God is Love which respects the freedom of everyone, although He is the creator of these subjects who then decide whether to follow Him or not. "If anyone wants to come after me ...".
Today Jesus says that it is impossible to follow Him if we do not renounce the old and sinful mentality. Without denial we cannot absolutely accept the new message brought by Him, every Christian is called to choose between Him and ephemeral pleasures.
This is the true teachings of Jesus. We follow in his footsteps when we become mature inwardly, after including the uselessness of many things that only for a few days delude us of a nonexistent happiness. Whoever reaches a certain spiritual maturity is strong before the trials of life and tackles the suffering with inner joy and a hope that causes a lot of peace.
It is not easy to take our cross with love, many do it for interest, in order not to lose something or someone.
On the other hand, who takes his cross with humility and love, discovers a Light that illuminates all things, that makes us see with new eyes the sooner he couldn't perceive. He loves everyone without self-interest but as brothers and sisters.
Who forgets the ephemeral, in the sense that mortifies the haughtiness and pride, lose their lives, corrupt and vicious, and  they lose them because they want to lose them, then leave them, abandoning them. We can forget the superfluous and not live more than selfishness and mediocrity, strength comes from prayer and the Sacraments.
Many pray only at certain times of the day, when indeed the life must become prayer, doing everything for the love of Jesus, with honesty, truth, justice, love and respect for others.
Many Christians have blindfolded by corruption and can't see any more the good  to be done and evil to be avoided. Yet we all live our everyday experiences. We cannot go back to avoid some errors but we should at least have acquired an awareness of having them made. Many take constant blunders and always remain convinced of wrong  opinions or repeat serious mistakes: they do not want to see the Light and create their illusion of becoming.
Many, arrived at an advanced age, reflect on life spent and repeat: "what remains beyond me everything I wanted to earn and I kept with greed? That sense has got to earn much if now I leave everything here, to people who maybe doesn't love me and awaiting my death? All efforts to raise so many assets, and after having damaged other people, why do I have? ".
Not everyone come to this sincerity, however close to death even the bad guys find a hint of truth. Christians in addition to these reflections should also wonder if you should live among worldly amusements and pleasures or save his soul. The soul is worth more than all the treasures of the world!

D - The rule of love is to treat all well, estimating each person at least for one personal good feature. It is not often easy to act driven by charity towards all, to judge or to disapprove anyone who is not sympathetic.
True charity is that brought to those who don’t esteem us, those who slander and defame, to those who feel enemy to all.
I must point out the meaning of charity, otherwise someone is getting confused. What I mentioned above is synonymous with love, affection, kindness, humanity and selflessness. There is another meaning of charity and it captures when it comes to charity, generosity, offer.
We have to live the charity, intended as love, at every opportunity and circumstance. It also manifests itself in understanding for those who are in error, but the firmness must always remain in front of the truth and goodness. The charity must be lived beyond human criteria, but in social relationships we cannot be naive and we must live also justice to enforce our rights.
Similarly we have to live prudently, without, however, there seems to be excessive any surrender or sacrifice for the good of others.
We must follow Jesus with the charity badge, follow him closely with facts, trying to be helpful, to bring joy to those who are near to us, recognizing that ever we’ll move forward enough in this virtue.
Every day is a new challenge against ourselves, by one side our nature pulls us towards the comfort and the affirmation of our opinions, and by the other the charity invites us to do well, to respect others, to love even those who hate us.
The norm of a Christian is not an eye for an eye, like there is in the world, but is to do consistently well.
Charity leads us to be inclusive, to excuse, to be able to live with everybody, and therefore respect and love should extend also to those who think or act differently from us in social, political and even religious things. This is the practice of love and amiability, so let us not to remain indifferent to the needs of others.
The charity that comes from the Gospel, and that is assimilated by those who daily undertake it, fervently purifies the heart and makes it great, able to love everyone and not try to some resentments.
Is the union with God that makes fruitful our act, it is His grace that transforms us in new creatures, this already happened to billions of believers in these two thousand years and will always be when there are people who want to live, act, behave, according to the Heart of Jesus.
The Christian must always show to coexist with everyone in the family, at work and in Association. His behavior must look like an overflow of supernatural affection and human warmth, overcoming the tendency to selfishness and to be closed between their interests.
The real charity leads us to live the friendship with a deep Christian meaning. Today the friendship is in crisis. Who can you trust if you do not observe Christian values? It is a gamble to trust others. However, let us always be truthful, honest and reliable.

E - I heard the news of the theft of consecrated hosts in Turin. It is about five sacrileges in recent months. They didn’t limit to steal the ciborium with the hosts, but have also eradicated the Tabernacle with the Pyx and took it away, almost wanting to mean that we should no longer hold and adore Jesus in the Eucharist. In fact, for Satan, the adoration of the Eucharist is a major threat, and so he finds a way to delete it.
Turin, Prague and Lyon are part of the evil triangle, these are high-potential Satanic towns, where the followers of Satan are many.
In Italy, Turin remains the city where are many Satanists, and where not even other joke, that use black magic to get benefits without worrying about the damage that they cause to others. With black magic you can manipulate a lot, increase the job opportunities or harm competitors, distort sporting events and facilitate personal or sporty success.
Black Magic is resorting to the help of devils. In this practice you ask their intervention to get what maybe is not lawful and in return the devils take the soul, cause serious diseases that last for years, or even they cause the death.
We see this in celebrities that use very easily black magic, even in the city of Turin: they have strange diseases, failed marriages, worship idols and perversions, and have their faces marked by strange lines.
Who does not believe in God, doesn’t care about the immortality of the soul, does not fear hell, and realizes pleasure to use black magic to get benefits. Also the owners of companies do it for fear of envy and ask the magicians to protect them with amulets. If they are in fact used magic symbols, they are interested in the result not the means used to have a good result. But they ignore the tremendous consequences that cause the devils.
Millions of Italian use black magic, many are entrepreneurs, footballers, singers and actors. For a bit of success.
The Gospel today describes a strange case of possession, in fact this is the mode used by devils so as not to be recognized. "Teacher, I brought to you my son, who has a dumb spirit." The devils that are in a person can remain hidden for many years, even for life as it happened to this man.
Strange diseases, the negativity that you soak in everything, family disputes, misunderstandings between spouses , however are visible.
In the case of a man possessed, the devils were causing very violent disorders described by his father in this way: "Wherever you grab him, throws him to the ground and he foams, he grinds his teeth and stiff". These external effects are more difficult to obtain, while the vast majority of diabolical possessions act in silence. They are dumb spirits, and to complain are the people owned and mangled by strange illnesses and major family problems.
It is not easy to drive him out, he reported to Jesus: "I told your disciples to cast him out, but they have not been successful". The Apostles were beginning their mission and did not have much experience, yet they were not strong in spirit, because before a diabolical possession we need a strong Faith, a lived prayer and the constant practice of renunciation. Above all we must acknowledge the diabolical possession and not exchange it for mental disease as is often done.
The son had been suffering for some time, "from childhood; indeed, often he also threw him into fire and water to kill him ". The father described those reactions with a strong intuition, he understood that the devils were the cause of his son's illness and asked Jesus to release him.
Few perceive the presence of the devil, they pray more to push it aside and ask for protection to Madonna.
Many, facing problems and impediments, are knocked down and fail to react. Do not use either for prayer, confess or not change lives. So the evils and deseases increase. But all can be stopped  and you can start again a happy life, full of peace, if you recur to the confession, to the Holy Mass, to the Rosary and pray with love Madonna.
Jesus said to the man's father freed from possession: "everything is possible for him who believes." Good prayer to all.

F - strive to be the first, understood as the best of all and try haughtiness towards others, is a practice widely used lately. Not that before it was not present in the hearts of many people, but now there's a real explosion of pride, understood as the desire to win for themselves, by any means, a position of privilege more than the others.
You must acknowledge and demonstrate to accept your  inferiority to be connected to undeniable and overwhelming superiority of the superb.
Every human being carries with it also the vice of pride, though Christians who pray manage to defuse this bomb also because the love of Jesus, that cover them, drives away negative inclinations and weaknesses.
The believers acquire much grace with prayer and become better before God and good to all.
In Catholic moral doctrine pride is considered the worst sin among the seven deadly sins (Pride, Avarice, Lust, Envy, Gluttony, Anger and Sloth), desires ordered towards the spirit of evil, Satan, from which all sins originate and causing the death of the soul.
The seven deadly sins are opposed to the three theological virtues (Faith, Hope and Charity) and the four cardinal virtues (Justice, Fortitude, Temperance, Prudence). The superb tends to behave in an evil manner because he believes is better than the others. The pride also is depicted by Dante in the Divine Comedy as the lion, one of the three fairs.
The distinction between research to become the first, often trampling the rights of others, and commitment to the affirmation in the work, putting in place their own capabilities, must be understood without making a mistake. It is correct to commit to a social promotion that also becomes advantageous in many ways, talents should be used, one’s capabilities must be shown without having any vainglory and presumptuousness to others.
Many aim to achieve dominant positions, especially among politicians, but we see that, if this becomes life's purpose and the impulse of one's consciousness is not perceived, we become dictators like the politician taken down a few days ago in Ukraine. Its action based on Soviet Communism, had made a clean sweep of opponents. The former premier was imprisoned and sentenced to seven years for reasons not quite clear.
Then, you can become the first to serve, and this is God's will, or to pride, which closes the mind and heart.
Jesus hastened to clarify to the Apostles the gravity of  research of power for power and not to serve everyone, starting with the poorest. Christian love should push for an opening of the heart to all, without envy, without trying to judge and condemn.
The loftiness and the difficulty of the Christian journey indicate that the prizes that gives Jesus are extraordinary and important for the psycho-physical balance. The Grace of Jesus completes in people the full human maturity and divinizes it, transfigures it and makes it similar to Him.
This journey of Faith, that often is recognized a bit strong, is actually our victory on weaknesses and on all human miseries.
You feel great joy when you exceed sufferings and challenges  by means of prayer and penance: you do not remember pain anymore.
